Catching all rarities of bugs is the crucial step of leveling up the Bug Catching Guild to unlock advanced versions of the Belt as well as new items and crafting recipes at the Bug Catching Guild Store. Where to Find Cerulean Cicada in Palia
The Cerulean Cicada is one of the Uncommon bugs in the game that spawns during morning and day (3 AM – 6 PM) in-game time in the Bahari Fields and Forests sitting on any Heartwood Tree. You have a chance of finding one out in the open while traversing the open fields or on top of the cliffs in Bahari Bay. However, the fields and cliffs in the northern areas have a higher chance of finding it such as Flooded Steps, Proudhorn Pass, The Outskirts, and Thorny Thicket.
NOTE: Cerulean Cicada is slightly bigger than Common Bark Cicada and you can identify them easily by its white body and light blue wings.
How to Catch Cerulean Cicada in Palia
Catching the Cerulean Cicada is easier than other bugs as it can be found sitting on Small, Medium, and Large Heartwood Trees. They are easy to spot and while passing through the Heartwood trees during morning and daytime, look around the trees to spot one.
Additionally, stunning the Cerulean Cicada will require multiple Smoke Bombs so, make sure you bring enough to stun it when you find it. If the Cerulean Cicada gets alerted, it will try to flee by flying around. It is best to throw the Sticky Smoke Bombs on it to slow it down and then use the regular Smoke Bombs to stun it.
Once you have stunned the Cerulean Cicada, go near it and interact with it to pick it up. The Cerulean Cicada has a chance of dropping a Cave Cap Flower when picked up.
Uses of Cerulean Cicada in Palia
Cerulean Cicada can be sold for 46 Gold (Base) and 69 Gold (Star Quality) to Zeki or at the Shipping Bin. Moreover, you can also gift it to certain villagers who like it or to those who have a weekly want for it. Currently, Auni is in need of a Cerulean Cicada until August 4, 2024, so if you have got one make sure to bring it to him.
