If you’re lucky enough, you can catch some Void Fishing troves! But what do you do when you eventually obtain one?

Check your Void Fishing inventory to see if you already have some troves! Now that there are quests to work through, have a read of our Void Fishing Omnivorous Rod guide and our Void Fishing Abyss Rose guide that goes over all locations.

Troves are essentially a loot box in Void Fishing! They’re not overly common to get, and each type has a different rarity, but you can guarantee that you’ll always get a few items out of them.

I recommend double-checking which auto-sell options you’ve turned on, as the ‘auto-sell troves’ one will sell every trove you collect. You don’t want to miss out on the goodies that might be inside! I’ve seen some people get Relics and Ancient items from just Gilded troves.

How to Get Troves

Starting off, how do you even get the troves in the first place? The only way to get them, like every other item in the game, is by fishing. There are 5 known Trove types at this current time:

Small TroveJunk TroveGilded TroveLarge TroveAncient Trove

All of them have the same rarity, yet the contents inside differ depending on the trove’s type. For instance, Gilded and Ancient troves offer better items than Junk and Small troves.

The selling value of a trove increases depending on its type too. The whole point of a trove is to open it, but you can also sell it as a singular item. For example, a Small trove sells for 1.5K and a Gilded trove sells for 15K. I suggest opening troves no matter what, but I’ve seen some players say that the value of selling a trove is sometimes more than selling all of the content inside.
