The Stripeshell Snail is one of the rare bugs in the game that spawns during evening and night (6 PM – 3 AM) in-game time on the Bahari Coast andthe Flooded Fortress. The eastern areas (Bahari Coast) have a higher chance of spawning it such as Coral Shores, Lighthouse Lagoon, and Beachcomber Cove.
How to Catch Stripeshell Snail in Palia
Catching the Stripeshell Snail is easier than other bugs as it can be found moving slowly along the ground. They are easy to spot and while running through the coastal areas of Bahari Bay, keep your eyes on the ground.
Additionally, stunning the Stripeshell Snail will require multiple Smoke Bombs so, make sure you bring enough to stun it when you find it. If the Stripeshell Snail gets alerted, it will try to crawl away before burrowing into the ground. It is best to throw the Sticky Smoke Bombs on it to slow it down and then use the regular Smoke Bombs to stun it.
Once you have stunned the Stripeshell Snail, simply go near it and interact with it to pick it up. The Stripeshell Snail also has a chance of dropping 1-7 Silk Thread when picked up.

Stripeshell Snail is needed for the Beach Bundle of the Vaults of the Waves. It can be sold for 140 Gold (Base) and 210 Gold (Star Quality) to Zeki or at the Shipping Bin.
