Strengthening your character by equipping Heirlooms is one of the core aspects of Dungeonborne but as you venture forth to higher-level raids, it becomes harder to win the encounters against other players or enemies/bosses. Overcoming the mid/late game challenges will require you to upgrade and enchant your heirlooms to acquire more stats.
This guide will help you how to upgrade and enchant Heirlooms in Dungeonborne.
How to Upgrade the Heirlooms in Dungeonborne
The Heirlooms that you have crafted can be upgraded from the Heirloom tab in the lobby. Navigate to the Heirloom tab and select the Heirloom that you have crafted from the Menu on the left side. After selecting the Heirloom, select the Upgrade option underneath its shown stats and it will open the Upgrade Menu from where you can upgrade the Heirloom to the next rarity level at the cost of crafting materials.
You can upgrade a Green Rarity Heirloom two times to make it a Purple Rarity Heirloom. However, each upgrade will require a corresponding type of crafting materials.
Upgrading Green Heirloom to Blue Heirloom – Costs 200x Ilmenite Ore
Upgrading Blue Heirloom to Purple Heirloom – Costs 200x Refined Steel Ore
Upon upgrading the Heirloom, you will also increase its Enchantment slots and crafting rarity. Meaning, that you can add more enchantments on an upgraded Heirloom and craft the upgraded Heirloom directly instead of upgrading it. However, the crafting cost will change corresponding to the rarity.
Blue Heirloom will require 2x Refined Steel Ore
Purple Heirloom will require 2x Star Fragment
How to Enchant Heirlooms in Dungeonborne
To add an enchantment to your Heirlooms, you need to select the ‘+’ slot underneath the Upgrade option of Heirloom. Initially, the Heirloom will have only one enchantment slot but as you upgrade the Heirloom to Purple rarity, it will unlock all three slots. As you select the enchant slot, it will open the Enchantment Menu with all rarities of enchantments with each one offering a different stat bonus.
Select the enchantment you wish to add to the Heirloom and it will be added for a certain cost of crafting materials.
Green Rarity Enchantments cost 100x Ilmenite Ore.
Blue Rarity Enchantments cost 50x Refined Steel Ore.
Purple Rarity Enchantments cost 100x Refined Steel Ore.
Moreover, you can change the enchantments freely if you are looking to switch your current build, but at the required cost of the crafting materials.
