Dismantling equipment is one of the core mechanics to getting yourself Heirloom gear in Dungeonborne. Instead of selling your looted equipment like weapons, armor pieces, and rings for gold, you can dismantle them to get crafting materials corresponding to their rarities which then can be used for crafting heirloom equipment.

This guide will help you how to dismantle equipment in Dungeonborne.

How to Dismantle Equipment in Dungeonborne

Equipment is dismantled at Weaponsmith/Blacksmith under the Heirloom tab in the lobby. Select the Heirloom tab and you will see various options. The first three options are for different Heirloom gear items and the last option (Red Hammer) is for dismantling. Select the Dismantling option to bring up the Dismantling Menu and then you will be able to initiate dismantling by pressing the big Red Hammer button in the menu.

Once done, start selecting the equipment in your inventory on the right side that you wish to dismantle.

NOTE: Different rarity of gear gives different resources upon dismantling.

Grey Equipment Items – Gives Rough White Iron

Green Equipment Items – Gives Ilmenite Ore

Blue Equipment Items – Gives Refined Steel Ore

Purple/Higher Equipment Items – Gives Star Fragment

All of the resources obtained by dismantling various rarities of equipment are used for crafting the corresponding rarity of Heirloom Equipment.

It is recommended to save up these resources to craft essential Heirloom weapons, armor pieces, and accessories respective to your class for better survival chances in higher-level raids.
