Dungeonborne Early Access is a free-to-play video game attracting many new players to experience the FPS dungeon PVPVE adventure. It is a loot and extract videogame but in dungeons with medieval weapons and sorceries. Moreover, there are eight different classes from which players can choose their starting class to begin the adventure.

However, as there is no tutorial at all in the game, it can be frustrating for players to understand what to exactly do to survive rather than losing all of the equipped gear over and over again. This guide includes various essential tips and tricks that will help the new players to Dungeonborne.

Best Tips & Tricks for New Players in Dungeonborne

Starting as a new player will initially bring you to the character creation where you have to create your character and select a class. Now, the first essential thing is choosing the correct class for your playstyle. Every class has a unique playstyle that can advantage you during the raids, and it brings us to our first tip which is choosing the best beginner class.

Best Beginning Class for New Players

The best beginning class for the new players in Dungeonborne is the Pyromancer as it has the potential to cast spells and wield close-range weapons. Most of the beginning players will choose Fighter or Rogue due to their higher strength and speed, but they can be easily tackled with Pyromancer due to his ability to cast powerful spells both from long range and close range.

However, if you prefer the classic sword and shield class, we recommend choosing a Fighter due to high stamina and strength stats. Moreover, Fighter’s Whirlwind ability is what makes this class one of the best in the game as it can hit enemies in range over time.

Best Maps to Play Solo and Initially

There are two different maps that you can play in Dungeonborne either on Casual or Classic. If you are playing Solo or with friends but have just started playing, it is best to play the Clouseau Castle map on Casual Mode as it is by far the easiest and will provide you with enough loot and gear to get both gold and items.

It is recommended to play the Clouseau Castle until you have surpassed Level 10 because the Sinner’s End map has high-level enemies that are difficult to tackle on low-level and low-tier gear.

Learn the Extraction Points

One of the most essential mechanics of Dungeonborne that new players must grasp quickly is the extraction points. There is currently one type of extraction in Dungeonborne Early Access and that is portal extraction.

The portal extraction points are the main extractions in Dungeonborne as they are in the game from the very beginning. These are the blue portals open by interacting with them and found at certain locations on each map. If you familiarize yourself with the maps that you play the most, you will be able to find them easily and make an extraction safely. The portal extraction remains in the match until the timer for the match hits zero, and all the players can use it to extract which makes it a bit of a hotspot especially, in the remaining couple of minutes of the match.

Explore, Watch the Timer, and Extract

You need to explore all of the rooms in the dungeon from your beginning area to find all the valuable items, gear, and weapons. Break the vases and boxes, and loot the chests to get all kinds of loot. However, keep an eye on the timer on the bottom right of the screen and try to make an extraction at the 2-minute mark especially, if you are a beginner. You need to extract any loot you find to make the most out of it.

Complete the Quests

After your initial couple of successful runs, head into the Quests tab to accept the quests for the merchants. Each merchant will require a certain thing that you need to hand over to them and in return, you will earn great rewards and level up the merchants so that they can have better items in their stocks.

Sell the Valuables and Dismantle the Unnecessary Gear Items

After every successful raid, you will bring various valuables and gear items. The valuables are mainly for selling to get yourself some gold, and you can also sell the unnecessary gear items for some more gold. However, it is best to dismantle the unnecessary gear items as low-tier gear items aren’t worth much but can offer crucial materials required to forge better gear items known as Heirloom Gear.
