“You’ll have them recruit you. You’ll become one of them.” Prime Video has unveiled a teaser trailer for the series called Citadel: Diana, the next spin-off that’s part of the “global Citadel universe.” Some of you (anyone?) may recall that last year Prime Video launched a spy action thriller series called Citadel, starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. While there were no details at the time, they said it is part of a global universe of series related to Citadel. Here’s the next one – an Italy spin-off, created & filmed entirely in Italy, starring Italian actress Matilda De Angelis as Diana Cavalieri. This is set in the future in 2030, after the fall of Citadel, as she gets involved in competing European crime syndicates. The cast also includes actors Lorenzo Cervasio, Maurizio Lombardi, Julia Piaton, Thekla Reuten, Giordana Faggiano, Bernhard Schütz, and Filippo Nigro. The Italian original, Citadel: Diana, is the second series to debut from the world of Citadel and it will be followed by India’s series, Citadel: Honey Bunny. Are people even watching this series?
