Most of the quests in Once Human are pretty straightforward as they all encourage you to follow the quest markers to complete any currently active quest. However, some quests include some puzzles in them and they can catch you off-guard and leave you in confusion. One such quest that players can initiate in the Broken Delta region is Unfinished Expedition.
It is a side quest that requires you to find three research documents for Rosetta which fortunately all marked on the map. However, one of them is located inside a small building to which it has no entry, and it confuses how to enter the building to retrieve the document.
This guide will walk you through how to complete the Unfinished Expedition quest in Once Human.
How to Complete Unfinished Expedition Quest in Once Human
Starting the Quest
The Unfinished Expedition quest is started by picking up an Expedition Note located on top of the Lighthouse. You can find the Lighthouse on the southeast side of the Broken Delta region and upon going up the staircase of the lighthouse, pick up the Expedition Note to initiate the quest.
Find Rosetta’s Research Documents
The quest requires you to find three of Rosetta’s research documents around the distant island in front of the lighthouse. Jump off the Lighthouse and use V as a glider to reach the island.
Environmental Security Records
The first record that you can pick up is on the ship. Follow the path to the ship and then climb the tower ahead. Jump off the tower and use the glider to reach the ship to pick up the Environmental Security Records.
Medical Records – Hack Computer
The second record that you can get is located in the central building of the facility on the island. Follow the quest marker to get inside the building and then go to the first floor to find a computer in front. Interact with the computer to start hacking it.
You need to move the three circular bars in the highlighted area of the circle using the three options on the right side. Each option will move a certain bar so use the options to move all the bars into the highlighted area and get the Medical Records.
Army Records – Picture Puzzle Solution
The final record is located in a small building with no gate or entry. Instead, if you look on the right side of the building you will see two pictures of a girl, one on the building and one on the green container. Now, what you have to do is to line up the pictures to make them one. Move to a certain position where you line up the pictures and it will make the screen go black for a second and then a doorway will appear.
Enter the building and pick up the Army Records from the table.
Hand Over the Records to Maxie or Clarie
For the final step of the quest, head over to Meyer’s Market and give the records to either Maxie or Clarie. Speak with one of the NPCs and go through the dialogues to conclude the quest.
