“Pretty girls should always smile!” Mubi has unveiled the first real teaser for the epic body horror movie called The Substance, which launched with a rapturous premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival back in May. It’s the second feature directed by horror filmmaker Coralie Fargeat, who loves to use buckets of blood in her movies. “Have you dreamt of a better version of yourself? You. Only better in every way. Seriously.” You’ve got to try this new product. It’s called The Substance. IT CHANGED MY LIFE. It generates another you. A new, younger, more beautiful, more perfect, you. This film stars Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, and Dennis Quaid.
