Blair is one of the unlockable descendants you will meet while following the campaign. Unlocking him will require you to gather various materials by completing multiple missions to research Blair. This guide will walk you through unlocking Blair in The First Descendant.
How to Unlock Blair in The First Descendant
Unlocking Blair requires gathering 4 materials essential for initializing his research at Anais. These materials are gathered by completing certain missions over in White-night Gulch and Hagios. Upon reaching White-night Gulch by progressing in the main campaign, you can begin the following missions to gather the respective Blair Materials.
Blair Enhanced Cells – Obtained by completing the Mystery’s End mission.
Blair Stabilizer – Obtained by completing the Bio-Lab mission.
NOTE: Both of these materials have a drop rate of 20% so you might have to replay the missions a few times until you get the materials.
For the rest of the two materials, you will get them from completing missions in Hagios. Progress further into the main story to unlock the Hagios region and get the following materials by completing the respective missions.
Blair Spiral Catalyst – Obtained by completing the Haven mission.
Blair Code – Obtained by completing the Old Mystery mission.
NOTE: Similar to the previous two Research Materials for Blair, the rest of these two materials have a drop rate of 20% so you might have to replay the missions a few times until you get the materials.
Research Descendant: Blair
After obtaining all 4 required materials for unlocking Blair, head back to Albion and speak with Anais. Select the Descendant option and then select Blair. Researching Blair will cost you all 4 materials and 400,000 Gold.
Begin Researching for Blair and it will take 16 hours (Real-Time) for the research to be complete. Fortunately, the timer goes on even if you are offline so you will most likely use Blair the next day. However, you can immediately complete the research by spending 240 Caliber (premium currency).
