“Nothing is too big for us to steal” Apple has revealed their official trailer for an adventure time travel series called Time Bandits, streaming this summer on the Apple TV+ service. Yes indeed, 80s kids, this is a TV adaptation of the kooky classic 1981 movie of the same name, Time Bandits, which was directed by Terry Gilliam. This new series is created by Jemaine Clement, Iain Morris, and Taika Waititi (wait, what!!), and produced for Apple TV+ by Paramount Television Studios, AC Studios and MRC, 2024’s Time Bandits is an unpredictable journey through time and space with a ragtag group of thieves and their newest recruit: an 11-year-old history buff named Kevin. Together they set out on a thrilling quest to save the boy’s parents — and the world.
