The First Descendant offers over 10 different Descendants which you can unlock by researching them or instantly using a premium currency called Caliber. As each Descendant has their own set of abilities and perks, you do want to unlock as many as you can before completing the main story. It will allow you to plan accordingly on taking down the end-game bosses more precisely and if you are in a team of friends, every player can use a different Descendant to tackle the boss in a more strategic way.
However, the way bosses are fought in The First Descendant, requires you to reach a certain level on one of your Descendants. There are various ways to level up your Descendants but there is one particular method that you can use to quickly level up your Descendant to the max level in an hour or two.
This guide will help you how to level up Descendants in The First Descendant.
How to Level Up Descendants Fast in The First Descendant
The max level of every Descendant in The First Descendant is 40 and as you reach every level, your Descendant will get a little bit stronger allowing you to tank more hits and utilize the abilities with increased power. To level up your Descendants quickly in The First Descendant, you need to play the Special Operations. These are the high-level missions one for each region of the map in which you can participate with other players to clear out a certain number of enemy waves to earn various rewards including blueprints, materials, gold, and EXP.
However, the difficulty of these missions is according to the region of the map. If you are selecting the Special Operation mission in Kingston, it will be easier than the one in Vespers or Sterile Land. You can get access to these missions once you have unlocked the regions and then interact with the console in Albion. The console is found on the left with a Yellow Globe on the left side as you enter Albion.
Interact with the console and then select a mission you want to play. The premise of the mission is simple, clear out the enemy waves. After clearing out every wave, you will be asked to either leave the mission with the earned rewards up to that point or you can continue to face the further challenge. Now, earning the most EXP for your Descendant comes through eliminating or damaging the most enemies. You need to make sure that you are killing and damaging the most enemies in every wave to secure yourself thousands of EXP. If you are playing an easier Special Operation mission like in Kingston, it is best to complete it for the most EXP reward.
However, if you are playing the Special Operation mission in Sterile Land or Vespers, it is recommended that you play only up to 2 waves as the mission gets more difficult with every wave. It is best to secure your earned rewards and EXP by leaving the mission and then replaying it up to two waves again. With this method, you will farm EXP by defeating difficult enemies for up to a few minutes. Repeating this process will easily get your Descendant to Level 30+ in an hour.
Simply repeat the process of playing a difficult Special Operation mission to up to 2 waves, leave it to secure the EXP, and replay it again. Once you have maxed out the level of your equipped Descendant, switch to another Descendant to repeat the process.
