How to Complete The Guardian Party in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Starting the Quest
Initiating the Guardian Party quest will require you to first unlock it by completing the M.U.S.H.U. Program quest and reaching Friendship Level 7 with Mushu. Once the quest is available in the Quests Tab, track it to make it an active quest, and then speak with Mushu to initiate the quest.
Speak with Mushu in Vitalys Mines
After starting the quest, make your way to the Vitalys Mines in the Sunlit Plateau to meet Mushu. Speak with Mushu and he will hand over some invitations.
Deliver Invitations for Mushu’s Celebration
Upon speaking with Mushu in Vitalys Mines, head over to the following villagers to deliver the invitations.
The Beast
Mulan
Simba
Mirabel
Once done, go back to Mushu and speak with him to report about the guests.
Gather Materials for Modular Dragon Decorations
You need to gather the following materials for the Modular Dragon Decorations.
28x Bricks – Crafted at a crafting station using Clay and Coal or can be purchased from Kristoff’s Stall for 130 Star Coins each.
35x Hardwood – Found under the trees in the Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Frosted Heights biomes.
7x Rubies – Obtained by mining the nodes in the Vitalys Mines.
2x Gold Ingots – Crafted at a crafting station using Gold Nuggets and Coal.
Craft the Modular Dragon Decorations
Upon gathering all the required materials, you need to craft two complete Modular Dragon Decorations which include the following items.
2x Modular Dragon Head
3x Modular Dragon Body
2x Modular Dragon Tail
Go over to the Crafting Station and navigate to the Furniture Tab to find all the recipes for the decorations. Now, craft the required number of Modular Dragon Decorations.
Decorate the Valley with Modular Dragon Decorations
After crafting the Modular Dragon Decorations, you need to place them anywhere in the Valley. Open the Furniture Menu and navigate to the Requests section to find all the decoration items. Place them one by one in any area.
Start Mushu’s Celebration
Upon decorating the valley, head back inside Vitalys Mines and speak with Mushu. After that, ring the gong by interacting with it to start Mushu’s celebration. Speak with Mushu again and he will tell you about the celebration activities.
Complete Celebration Activities
There are three activities for Mushu’s celebration and you need to complete each one by completing a respective subquest. All the celebration activities are the following and you can complete them in any order.

How to Complete The Red Pouch Hunt
There will be seven Red Pouches scattered across the Vitalys Mines. You need to find and pick up all the seven Red Pouches. Simply head along the track inside the mines to find all seven Red Pouches. After finding the Red Pouches, you can choose to open them or not, and as you return to the main celebration area, the activity will be completed.
How to Complete Cooking Sesame Balls
Mushu will hand over the recipe for Sesame Balls and you need to learn the recipe from your inventory. After learning the recipe, gather the following ingredients for cooking Sesame Balls.
1x Wheat – Purchased from Goofy’s Stall in Peaceful Meadow for 3 Star Coins.
1x Ginger – Found growing on the ground in the Forgotten Lands.
1x Rice – Purchased from Goofy’s Stall in Glade of Trust for 92 Star Coins.
1x Seaweed – Caught by fishing in the open water (no ripples).
1x Soya – Purchased from Goofy’s Stall in Sunlit Plateau for 104 Star Coins.
After gathering all the ingredients, go to a Cooking Station and add all the ingredients to cook Sesame Balls. Once done, bring Sesame Balls to Mushu to conclude the activity.
How to Complete Mushu’s Piñata Extravaganza
There will be three piñatas scattered around the Vitalys Mines and you need to break them using your Royal Pickaxe Tools. Simply follow along the track in the mines to find the piñatas and then break them to gather dropped candy. Each piñata will drop 5 candies, and upon gathering 10 candies in total and breaking all three piñatas, the activity will be concluded.
Completing the Quest
After completing all Mushu’s celebration activities, speak with Mushu, and then take a picture with him. Once done, speak with Mushu again to conclude the quest.
Rewards
Completing the Guardian Party quest will give 2,200 Friendship Points as a reward.
