Iron is one of the essential materials in ASKA as it will allow you to forge yourself Iron Tools, Weapons, and Armor which are more effective than the starting equipment of your journey. However, getting iron ores in ASKA is unlike other survival games requiring you to first find a cave to build an entrance to it and mine the iron from the cave.

How to Get Iron Ore in ASKA
Iron Ores are obtained from the caves in ASKA which are quite rare to find. For you to begin your journey of getting iron, you will have to first find a cave. To find a cave, you need to explore the world and keep on spamming the ‘Search Area’ ability key (Z by default) to highlight any giant rocks. At first, you will take them as a giant rock but in reality, it is an entrance to the cave underneath it.
How to Get Inside the Cave in ASKA
To get inside the Cave, you will have to build the Cave Entrance on the giant rock you found. You will be able to build the Cave Entrance once you have built the Workshop Pit. Building the Cave Entrance will require the following materials.
5x Log
5x Long Stick
8x Rope
4x Large Stone
8x Small Stone
Once you have built the Cave Entrance, equip the pickaxe and enter inside to start mining the iron ore.
Getting Iron Ore in ASKA
Upon entering the Cave, you will find Cave Walls. These walls hold the iron ores and as you break them using the Pickaxe, you can pick up the dropped iron ores. There will be multiple walls inside the cave and each wall will drop several iron ores for you to pick up. Furthermore, as you reach the final room inside the cave, it will have an iron deposit which you can mine to get more iron ores.
