Improving your settlement in ASKA is essential for unlocking the crafting of better items and equipment that will help you against the monsters and even against the Winter. However, all the advanced structures in ASKA require a prerequisite structure and soon you will start seeing a requirement for Carpenter.
As the game doesn’t tell you about any category where you can find the Carpenter structure, it can be a bit confusing finding it and even building it. This guide will help you how to build the carpenter in ASKA.
How to Build the Carpenter in ASKA
The Carpenter is an Add-On structure for the Workshop Hut and if you have upgraded your Workshop Pit to the Workshop Hut, go into the Workshop Hut menu by pressing the T button and select the ‘Select Addon’ option to reveal all of the possible Add-ons. Scroll down in the Add-ons list to find the Carpenter structure.
NOTE: The Carpenter structure requires hardwood which is obtained from Iron Tools. You will have to first build a Metalworker structure to get the Iron Tools.
Select the ‘Build’ option on the Carpenter structure and place it beside the Workshop Hut. After that, level the ground and then provide the following materials to it.
12x Stick
4x Hardwood Log
4x Hardwood Stick
6x Rope
12x Bark
6x large Stone
12x Small Stone
Once done, the Carpenter structure will be built which you can use to refine and produce advanced wood parts. Moreover, building the Carpenter will also give you access to build the Longhouse. The final building of the Housing category.
