This guide will help you how to get Forged Iron in 7 Days to Die.
How to Get Forged Iron in 7 Days to Die
Forged Iron is obtained by smelting Iron and Clay in the Forge station. Iron and Clay are both common resources and are found by mining Iron Deposits and digging the grassy land respectively. Moreover, you can also get Iron by decaying vehicles and metal objects like shelves, windows, ladders, etc.
However, the main thing required for you to craft the Forged Iron is to get the Forge station first. Upon unlocking the Forge Station by increasing the Workstation Skill Level to Level 5, you will unlock the Forged Iron recipe automatically.
To craft the Forged Iron, add a decent amount of Iron and Clay to the Forge Station and then add Wood or Coal as fuel to the Forge. After that, place the Iron and Clay into the Smelting slots to start smelting iron and clay, and then search for the Forged Iron recipe and you will be able to craft it once the required materials have been smelted.
Crafting 1x Forged Iron costs the following amount of Iron and Clay.
12x Iron
6x Clay
It is better to craft forged iron in abundance so if you have a high amount of Iron and Clay, put them in the Forge to smelt all of them, and then craft the Forged iron at once.
