Workbench is one of the essential workstations in 7 Days to Die that will allow you to craft the items that cannot be crafted from a player’s inventory like weapons, ammo, vehicles, and much more. This guide will help you how to unlock Workbench in 7 Days to Die.

How to Unlock Workbench in 7 Days to Die

Unlocking the Workbench station will require you to first unlock its recipe by reaching Level 10 in the Workstation Skill Level. To increase the Skill Level of Workstations you will have to find 10 magazines called Forge Ahead. Gathering each Forge Ahead magazine will increase a level for your Workstation Skill Level and unlock the Workbench recipe automatically.

You can find the Forge Ahead magazines on the shelves and inside the boxes in various buildings throughout the biomes. However, the drop rate of these magazines is comparatively lower than common items and resources. To increase the drop rate for Forge Ahead magazines, put some points in the Advanced Engineering Perk.

How to Craft the Workbench in 7 Days to Die

Once you have unlocked the Workbench recipe by increasing your Workstation Skill Level to Level 10, you need to acquire the following materials to craft it.

25x Forged Iron

20x Mechanical Parts

5x Duct Tape

100x Nails

100x Wood

After getting all the required materials, open the Crafting Menu to craft it. Wait for a certain time for the crafting to be finished and once done, it will be stored in your inventory. Now, select it from your inventory to place it down.
