Surviving in the post-apocalyptic world of Navezgane, Arizona in 7 Days to Die will require you to stay alive as long as possible by fending off the elements and zombies. However, apart from the generic survival mechanics, there are several other mechanics such as building and moving the stuff around to manage your base.
One of the confusing mechanics in the game that most of the new players will find troubling is picking up crafting stations like Workbench and Forge so that they can place them somewhere else instead of crafting them again. This guide will help you how to pick up Forge and other Crafting Stations in 7 Days to Die.
How to Pick Up the Crafting Stations in 7 Days to Die
Building and placing all the necessary crafting stations in your base is essential for crafting the items, tools, weapons, and ammo to increase your survival chances. Each crafting station requires certain materials which can take a lot of time to gather and craft, and if you are moving to a new biome or rearranging your base, you might want to pick them up to move them.
Now, picking up the crafting stations in 7 Days to Die has two requirements that you must fulfill. The first is that all the crafting stations must be inside the vicinity of the Land Claim Block, and the second requirement is that the crafting stations must be empty, meaning they don’t have any resources or crafted items stored in their inventory slots.
After fulfilling both of these requirements, go over to the crafting station you wish to pick up and hold the E button. It will open a Radial Menu where you need to select the Take option. Doing so will pick up the crafting station and store it in your inventory. Now, you will be able to place the stored crafting station anywhere by placing them down.
NOTE: Make sure that the crafting stations are fully repaired otherwise, you might not be able to pick them up.
How to Pick Up the Forge in 7 Days to Die
Picking up Forge is similar to picking up any other crafting station in 7 Days to Die. However, Forge can also be picked up if it has less than 10 smelted items in it, but make sure that it does not contain any resources. If there are any, use them to craft various smelted items and then you will be able to pick up the forge as long as it is in the vicinity of the Land Claim Block.
