The Viking folklore-inspired world in ASKA is enriched with various resources that are essential for crafting useful items and building structures. One of the essential resources in ASKA is Thatch which is used for crafting beds that can be placed inside houses for compensating overall space in your settlement and for roofing of the houses.

This guide will help you get Thatch in ASKA.

How to Get Thatch in ASKA

Thatch is obtained from a plant called Reeds. Reeds are found in a vast amount near the coastline of the land. These plants are like tall wheat crops and mainly spawn in between the tall grass near the coastline. The easiest way to find Thatch is to go along the coastline and press the Z button to scan the area for the resources. If there is Thatch nearby, it will be highlighted on your screen.

Make your way to the Reeds and hold the interaction key button to harvest Thatch. Harvesting each Reed will give you 1x Thatch which is stored inside the Medium Items of your inventory. Moreover, as items don’t stack in the inventory in ASKA, you will only be able to harvest 24 Thatch at a time.

However, if you have a settlement near the coastline, then it will be a lot easier for you to harvest Thatch again and again as it is needed in abundance for crafting mid-game building structures and items.
