Best Place to Build the Initial Settlement
Building a settlement in ASKA requires attention on various terms and one of the most essential ones is finding the right place. The best place for a settlement in ASKA is considered somewhere where there is food, materials, and an ocean nearby. It is best to build your first settlement along the coast as it will allow you to catch fish (food) and build boats. Moreover, if there is a cave nearby, you can mine iron in it, and if there is a Wolf Den, you can get even more food which is essential for you and your villagers to stay alive.
Essential Structures to Build in Your Settlement
After finding a suitable location for your base, you need to start with a Simple Fire and upgrade it to Campfire using Sticks and Stones. It will unlock the recipe for the Shelter, an essential structure to build in your shelter. Select the Shelter recipe and place down the foundation. Now, use the Wooden Hoe to level the ground and start bringing the required materials to the foundation to finish building the shelter.
After that, you place a Rain Collector for collecting water over time and then build the Eye of Odin to summon your first villager. Having a villager on your side will help you divide the work as you can go out and look for food and leave the building work for the villager. Make sure to put down the foundations of the structures first so that the villagers can gather the required materials and add them to the foundation to finish building the structures.

Shelters (for villagers): A place for your villagers to sleep.
Water Well: Gather a higher quantity of water.
