Now that you’ve seen our tier list, let’s give you a bit more context into our higher rankings. You may notice that the S-tier primarily features ranged weapons. This is subjective, but I think ranged weapons excel melee weapons a lot of the time, especially in a game like Monkey Raft.

Firstly, you can stay out of the danger zone of an enemy, and still deal DMG when possible. Secondly, the DMG of these ranged weapons is on par with the melee ones, making them just as good, if not better. You deal the same amount of DMG, but further away from your opponent. Being up close to the enemy increases your chances of getting hit, with or without a melee weapon.
