Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree offers a map size bigger than the region of Limgrave (Lands Between) in the base game. The Realm of Shadow consists of five different regions and for the players to explore every nook and cranny of each region, they will have to find all the map fragments to get a better understanding of every region.
This guide will help you find all the map fragments of the Realm of Shadow in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
All Map Fragment Locations in the Shadow of the Erdtree
There are five different regions in the Realm of Shadow that you will be exploring throughout your journey and exploration. Each region offers a unique landscape with breathtaking visuals along with the merciless and relentless enemies. Despite the vicious enemies, exploring the regions will reward you with new weapons, talismans, gear, and most importantly the Scadutree Fragments, the only way to level up your character in the Realm of Shadow.
All the regions included in the Shadow of the Erdtree are the following.
Gravesite Plain
Scadu Altus
Rauh Ruins
Cerulean Coast
Abyssal Woods
To find all the map fragments, follow the mentioned steps below for each region individually.
Gravesite Plain Map Fragment Location
Upon reaching the Realm of Shadow, pick up the Gravesite Plain Site of Grace.
Continue in the north direction towards the Scorched Ruins along the main road and you will find the map fragment before reaching the Ruins.
Scadu Altus Map Fragment Location
Defeat Rellana, Twin Moon Knight at Castle Ensis.
Pick up the Highroad Cross Site of Grace in Scadu Altus.
Continue straight on the main road from the Site of Grace to pick up the Scadu Altus region’s Map Fragment.
Rauh Ruins Map Fragment Location
Head to the cavern area located north of the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace in Scadu Altus. The cave entrance is behind a headless statue.
Keep on going along the path in the cave until you reach a golden tree. Turn right from here and go ahead to reach a swamp.
Go to the left and stick to the wall to eventually exit the swamp area and reach Rauh Base.
As you go a bit ahead, there will be a Site of Grace that you can pick up.
Continue straight ahead on the path avoiding the two giant enemies and you will reach the Rauh Ruins map fragment location.
The only confusing task is to get to Rauh Base, after that, you just have to traverse straight on the path to pick up the map for the Rauh Ruins.
Cerulean Coast Map Fragment Location
Reach the Ellac River Cave Site of Grace located south of Castle Ensis.
Continue ahead on the path to reach the Ellac River Downstream Site of Grace.
Continue in the south direction while staying along the right wall to enter the Cerulean Coast region and pick up the Cerulean Coast Site of Grace.
Head in the south direction from the Cerulean Coast Site of Grace to reach and find the Cerulean Coast Map Fragment.
Abyssal Woods Map Fragment Location
Enter the Shadow Keep in the Scadu Altus region.
Make your way to the Castle Watering Hole Site of Grace.
Continue in the south direction to reach the Recluses River Upstream Site of Grace.
Go further down the path to reach the Recluses River Downstream Site of Grace.
Reach the Darklight Catacombs located at the lower southern side of Scadu Altus.
Complete the Darklight Catacombs and pick up the Forsaken Graveyard Site of Grace.
Head in the south direction to find the Woodland Trail Site of Grace.
Continue in the south direction along the main road to reach and find the Abyss Map Fragment.
It is located beside the Abandoned Church where you can find the Church Ruins Site of Grace and pick up the 2 Scadutree Fragments.
