Copper Ore is one of the various minerals in Pax Dei that is used for crafting better equipment and items than the basic tier. After filling up your base with useful workbenches and equipping your character with basic tools and weapons, you would want to go out and mine Copper Ores to unlock the recipe for Copper Ingot.
This guide will help you how to get Copper Ore in Pax Dei.
How to Get Copper Ore in Pax Dei
Copper Ore is obtained by mining the Copper Deposits mainly found in the dark areas all around the map. These areas are known as the Land of Stone and they usually consist of all kinds of minerals including Copper, Tin, and Iron. Moreover, the Copper Deposits also have a chance of spawning in the bright areas of the map mainly in the southwest side of the map.
The best place to find Copper Deposits early in the game is the Down region of the map. It is the central region of the map and if you travel to the west side of it, you will reach the Land of Stone and have a chance of finding multiple Copper Deposits along with other mineral deposits. The Copper Deposit looks similar to all other mineral deposits but it has a copper tint on it indicating that it might contain copper.
Upon finding the Copper Deposits, you need to mine them using the Stone Pickaxe tool to get Copper Ores. As you mine your first Copper Ore, you will automatically learn the recipe for Copper Ingot which is essential for crafting the Bronze Ingot. Stone Pickaxe is the initial mining tool of the game which you will be able to craft at the Basic Carpenters Workbench so, make sure that you crafted and equipped the Stone Pickaxe before you go out in the wilderness to mine copper.
