Fallout 76: How to Complete the Seeking Shelter Quest

The Seeking Shelter is one of the new main quests in Fallout 76 added with the Skyline Valley update. It is the seventh main quest that players can begin inside Vault 63 by speaking with Audrey Stolz, daughter of Hugo Stolz. This guide will walk you through how to complete the Seeking Shelter quest in Fallout 76.

How to Complete the Seeking Shelter Quest in Fallout 76

How to Start the Quest

The Seeking Shelter quest becomes available after completing the Between the Lines quest. During the Between the Lines quest, you will have to find the Weather Machine Blueprints for Hugo Stolz and then deliver them to his daughter, Audrey at Vault 63 Meteorology Sector. Once you have completed this quest, Audrey will have a task for you, and upon speaking with her, the Seeking Shelter quest will begin.

Go to the Shenandoah Visitor Center

Audrey will give you the task of finding a Weather Machine Part and bringing it back to her. She will tell you to go to the Shenandoah Visitor Center located east of the Meteorology Sector. Go out of Vault 63 Meteorology Sector and follow the road to the east to reach the visitor center. Enter the visitor center and speak with an NPC named Kevin Harris.

Clear out the Intruders

Upon speaking with Kevin, he will reveal that he has the Weather Monitoring Device in his bunker but to get to his bunker, you will have to first kill the intruders. Follow the objective marker to the intruders and you will encounter several cultists. Kill all of the enemies in the area and then report back to Kevin.

Retrieve the Weather Machine Repair Part

After speaking with Kevin, follow him to his bunker. Once there, interact with the console in front to retrieve the Weather Machine Repair Part.

Report back to Audrey

Once you have retrieved the machine part, fast-travel to the Vault 63 Meteorology Sector and speak with Audrey. Upon reporting back to Audrey, she will tell you to install the part on the machine located above. Follow the objective marker on your screen to make your way up to the Weather Machine and then interact with the console to replace the part and fix the machine. Doing so will conclude the quest and a new quest will be available called Oldest Trick in the Book.
