Dangerous Pastimes Event Walkthrough
Speak into the Intercom
Once you have joined the event, make your way to the Thunder Mountain Substation TM-03 and go over to the Intercom to speak with David Shuffleworth. Go through the dialogues and he will tell you to gather the Harvester Parts to repair the Lightning Harvester.
Gather 40 Harvester Parts and Install them on the Lightning Harvester
The Lightning Harvester machine is located in the middle of the substation and you need to search around the area to find the Harvester Parts. These are the metal parts usually found in the metal boxes scattered around the area. Simply, pick up the Harvester Parts and then go over to the Lightning Harvester and interact with it to install the parts.
Furthermore, you can also install the parts individually but it will take a lot of time and might exceed the time limit of 4 minutes. It is better to first gather the parts and install them at once. Moreover, during your hunt of gathering the parts, Ghouls (The Lost) will come and attack you in waves so you will have to prevent them as well.
Charge the Lightning Harvester by Killing the Lost
After installing all 40 Harvester Parts to the machine, wait for a few seconds for it to come online and you will get the objective to charge the Lightning Harvester. To charge the Lightning Harvester, you will have to defeat the Lost enemies with Power Armor in the area. They spawn only on the substation’s upper structure.
Each enemy you take down will fill up a certain portion of the progress bar. Once the bar has been filled, jump off the structure to not get electrocuted and die by the charged Lightning Harvester. You can also leave the structure early and let the other players fill the bar by killing the Charged Lost enemies.
Destroy the Thunder Crab
Upon charging the Lightning Harvester, the final boss of the event will spawn called the Thunder Crab. You need to kill the Thunder Crab teamed up as one with all the other players and as soon as it is destroyed, the Dangerous Pastimes event will be completed.
Rewards
Completing the Dangerous Pastimes Event will give the following rewards to the players.
1000 XP
150 Caps
1-3 Legendary Cores
3 Treasury Notes
Contextual Ammo
Various Survival Items
A Legendary Weapon (Red Terror or V63-BERTHA)
