How to Get Iron Ores in Dark and Darker
Iron Ore is one of the various ores in Dark and Darker that players can get through mining. Mining plays an essential role in gathering the ores and for you to mine the Iron Ores, you will first have to get a Pickaxe. Pickaxe is sold by a merchant named Woodsman and it will cost you 25 Gold.
Now, the next main step to get Iron Ore is to find an Iron Vein. The best place to farm yourself some iron ores without dangerous enemies surrounding you is the Goblin Caves map. You can find around 3 to 5 Iron Veins in the room on the northeast side of the map and this room only has Goblins in it which are easy to defeat.
Moreover, this room also has a spawn of Copper Veins and a couple of Coalt Veins if lucky. You need to explore both the upstairs and the downstairs of the area to locate all the Iron Veins. Upon finding the veins, go near them and hold the F button to start mining the Iron Ores. It will take around 3 to 4 turns to bag all of the ores from the veins before you can move on to the next one.
Fortunately, there is also a one-time extraction point near this area which you can take right after mining the ores, so if you want to farm iron ores to use them to craft high-tier weapons and gear pieces, repeat the process in the Normal Mode.
