Luck increases the chances of finding the better loot instead of finding the regular common loot. There are various ways to increase the Luck stat of your character but the easiest way to do it is by using a Potion of Luck. This guide will help you how to get the Potion of Luck in Dark and Darker.
How to Get the Potion of Luck in Dark and Darker
The Potion of Luck is one of the essential consumables in the game but unlike other consumables like health, protection, and invisibility, it cannot be found as loot in the game. Instead, players will have to purchase it from a merchant called Fortune Teller. The Fortune Teller sells two types of Potion of Luck, an Uncommon Version and an Epic Version.
The price of the Uncommon Version of Potion of Luck is 50 Gold and consuming it will increase the Luck stat temporarily by 20, 50, or 80, whereas, the Epic Version of Potion of Luck costs 150 Gold and has a chance of increasing the Luck stat temporarily by 50, 100, or 150. However, consuming the Potion of Luck also comes with a penalty of -20% movement speed.
How to Use the Potion of Luck
Using the Potion of Luck is as simple as using a Potion of Health. Place the Potion of Luck into your inventory and upon using it, you will gain a random buff of Luck stat that stays active for the course of the run or death.
Now, the main usage of Potion of Luck is to find the better gear and it is only possible in the High Roll mode. If you are playing the Normal Mode, the loot will always be set to the low tier where you can find the maximum of Rare (Blue) tier items. However, in the High Roll mode, you can easily get your hands on Epic tier items by using the Potion of Luck.
