Disney Dreamlight Valley offers several Disney and Pixar characters that players can unlock by progressing the main story and increasing the friendship level with the characters. One of the unlockable characters that players can unlock mid-game is Prince Eric. He is one of the hidden characters in the game as unlocking him doesn’t require you to access any realm but completing a series of quests for Ursula.
This guide will help you how to unlock Prince Eric in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Unlock Prince Eric in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Unlocking Prince Eric has a couple of prerequisites including unlocking Ariel first and then completing Ursula’s Friendship Level 10 quest called A Deal with Ursula. Once you have fulfilled both of these prerequisites, a new quest will begin for Prince Eric called Poor Unfortunate Eric. Pursue this quest as you will unlock Prince Eric during this quest.
As the quest begins, you will be given an item called Poor Unfortunate Eric which you need to bring to Ariel. After that, consult with Merlin about the curse on Prince Eric. Merlin will give you the foundation of Prince Eric’s Castle that you need to place and build. Once you have placed down the foundation of Prince Eric’s Castle, interact with Scrooge’s Sign to finish building Eric’s House. It will cost you 10,000 Star Coins to build Eric’s House.
Once Eric’s Castle has been built, go inside it to find a flute. Pick up the Flute and bring it to Ariel. Ariel will break the curse on Eric which will bring him to the Valley. Now, the only thing remaining is to welcome him to the Valley by taking pictures with him.
After unlocking Prince Eric, pursue the rest of the quest to complete it, and then you will be able to increase your Friendship Level with him.
