Soulmask offers a vast world map including several biomes in it that players will get to explore throughout their journey. Each biome of the world map offers various materials that players must acquire to progress in the game. Traveling to each biome can take a lot of time and increase the chances of losing your items upon dying.
However, there is a way to get around the map easier and it includes the use of Portals. There are various Mysterious Portals scattered around the world map that players can use to fast travel. This guide will help you how to fast travel in Soulmask.
How to Fast Travel in Soulmask
Fast traveling in Soulmask is done by stepping into the portals. There are two different types of Portals in Soulmask, one is that you can place yourself anywhere in the world, and the other one is that are already scattered around the world.
For you to travel through the personal portal, you must place down at least two portals to enter inside one and come out of the other. Whereas, if you wish to travel through the Mysterious Portals, you will be able to select the destination as the other portal.
However, both of the portals have their own pros and cons like the limitations of traveling with items and the cost of Mask Energy. You can find a detailed explanation of both types of portals in the respective section below.
Player-Placed Portals in Soulmask
The player-placed portals can be placed by players themselves anywhere in the world, but there should be two of them placed for the teleportation to be successful. However, using these portals has the following limitations.
The teleportation will not take place if there is anything in your inventory excluding the items in your hot bar and equipped gear.
If you are using a mount, the teleportation will not take place.
Despite these limitations, the player-placed portals might be the best way to fast travel as you can deploy your own teleportation points around the map.
Mysterious Portals in Soulmask
There are six Mysterious Portals in Soulmask located one in each biome of the world map. To use a Mysterious Portal, you will have to first activate the portal using 3x Green Crystal. Once the portal is activated, you will be able to travel to the other mysterious portal location at a cost of 250 Mask Energy.
However, unlike the player-placed portals, you will be able to use the portal with everything in your inventory as well as the mount. But you will have to activate the portals first which can take a lot of time.
