During the story progression of A Rift in Time expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will be required to meet one of the villagers at the Eternity Isle named Gaston. He is found in the Glittering Dunes biome and as players meet with him, they will begin a story quest named “The Wanderer of the Dunes”.
Right at the beginning of this quest, Gaston will require players to gather three ingredients for him. One of the confusing ingredients that he will ask players to get is Flexing Spider-Like Thing. This guide will help you where to find the Flexing Spider Like-Thing in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Where to Find the Flexing Spider-Like Thing in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Flexing Spider-Like Thing refers to a Scorpion in the Wanderer of the Dunes quest for Gaston. You can find the Scorpion in the quicksand spots found in The Plains, The Wastes, and The Borderlands areas of Glittering Dunes. Similar to the other fish and creatures in quicksand, Scorpion is also caught by fishing.
To get the Scorpion, you have to fish in the Blue Ripples in quicksand, and once you catch a Scorpion, the Flexing Spider-Like Thing objective will be completed. Furthermore, alongside the Scorpion, you also need to get two more ingredients which are the following.
Green Spiky-Leafed Plants
Agave – Found all over Glittering Dunes.
Sweet Brown Raisin Things
Dates – Found on trees all over Glittering Dunes.
Upon getting all three ingredients, go back to Gaston to give him all of the items and progress the quest ahead.
