How to Get Thick Leather in Soulmask
The Thick Leather is one of the semi-finished products in Soulmask that can be obtained from two different methods. The first method includes looting it from the chests found inside the Ancient Ruins, Mysterious Ruins, Barbarian Fortresses, etc. However, it is not guaranteed that you find the Thick Leather from every chest, and getting a certain amount of Thick Leather to craft the new workstations might take you some time.
Fortunately, there is a more efficient method to get Thick Leather and that is by crafting it yourself. You can craft the Thick Leather at the Tanning Rack, a building structure that players can unlock fairly early in the game. Once you have crafted and placed down the Tanning Rack, you can craft the Thick Leather with the following materials.
1x Tanning Fluid
1x Thick Hide or 1x Alligator Skin
The Tanning Fluid is also made in the Tanning Rack and for the Thick Hide or the Alligator Skin, you have to hunt down the Alligators. If you find a Giant Alligator, it has a chance of dropping both Thick Hide and Alligator Skin whereas, the normal Alligator will only drop Alligator Skin. Make sure to use the Butchering Knife to get the Hide and the Skin off the Alligators you hunt.
Crafting the Thick Hide will take 16.60 seconds and you can also assign your Tribesmen to handle the Tannery Station to craft the Thick Leather and other essentials for you.
