Soulmask offers a very big map that players have to explore throughout their journey. The map includes various points of interest tied to the progression of the game and much more. However, running your way to each location to find the secrets can take a lot of time but you can shorten the time of your travels by using the mounts.
There are five different mounts available in Soulmask with each one having a certain advantage that players can use to make their way around the world easily. This guide will provide you with information on how to unlock all mounts in Soulmask.
How to Unlock All Mounts in Soulmask
Soulmask includes five different mounts that players can get throughout their journey. Unlocking each mount requires a certain Awareness Strength Level that will allow players to unlock the recipe for the saddles of the respective mounts which all can be crafted at the Armor Foraging Table. After that, players will have to put the saddle onto the respective mount to be able to mount it. All the mounts available in Soulmask are the following.
Alpaca
Llama
Panther
Ostrich
Snow Leopard
How to Get the Alpaca Mount
Alpaca mount is the very first mount that players can get in Soulmask and they can find one early in the game at one of the Barbarian Camps. Free and pick up the Alpaca baby and bring it to your base to nourish and raise it by feeding it. However, before you get to mount it, you will have to make the Alpaca Saddle after unlocking its recipe.
You can unlock the recipe for Alpaca Saddle on Awareness Strength Level 15 and it will require the following materials to craft it.
15x Leather
10x Leather Ropes
10x Coarse Cotton
After crafting the saddle, all you have to do is to put the saddle onto Alpaca and you will be able to ride it.
NOTE: Alpacas don’t have any special characteristics and their overall speed is slow.
How to Get the Llama Mount
Llama mount is also one of the earliest mounts that players can unlock in Soulmask as its saddle recipe also requires the Awareness Strength Level 15. Llamas are usually found in groups from where you can catch a baby llama and bring it to your base to raise it. However, catching the baby llama will require you to place down a medium trap with bait. As soon as the baby llama gets trapped, you can pick it up.
The required materials to make Llama Saddle are the following.
20x Leather
10x Leather Ropes
15x Coarse Cotton
10x Thin Ropes
After crafting the Llama Saddle, put it onto the Llama to ride it. The Llama Mount has a special characteristic of carrying an unconscious Barbarian or small livestock.
How to Get the Panther Mount
The Panther Mount is unlocked almost halfway through the game as its saddle requires the Awareness Strength Level 25. You can find the Panther in the wilderness but it is a bit tricky to find a baby panther. The best way to catch the baby panther is to scan the area for a Female Panther as it will have a greater chance of having a baby panther nearby.
Upon finding the baby panther, put down the medium trap with bait and wait for it to get caught. Once it is caught, catch it and bring it back to your base to raise it.
The required materials to make Panther Saddle are the following.
20x Leather
10x Leather Ropes
10x Fine Cotton
5x Bronze Ingot
How to Get the Ostrich Mount
Ostriches are found in the Desert areas of the world map and getting yourself an Ostrich’s baby will require you to steal their egg. Bring the Ostrich Egg to the base and wait for it to be hatched to get yourself a baby ostrich that you need to nourish and feed until it is matured. However, for the main thing, mounting it will require you to first unlock the recipe for Ostrich Saddle which is unlocked at Awareness Strength Level 36.
The required materials to make Ostrich Saddle are the following.
20x Premium Leather
15x Fine Cotton
10x Cotton Rope
5x Iron Ingot
Ostrich is probably the best mid-game mount in the game as it has a special characteristic of gliding from heights which lowers the fall damage.
How to Get the Snow Leopard Mount
The Snow Leopard is the end-game mount in Soulmask that can only be found in the Snow Mountain region. However, the method to get a baby snow leopard is the same as the panther. You have to find a female snow leopard and steal its baby to raise it on your own. The Snow Leopard Saddle recipe requires the Awareness Strength Level 51 to unlock and you will be able to craft it with the following materials.
20x Delicate Leather
15x Smooth Cloth
10x Cotton Ropes
5x Steel Ingots
The Snow Leopard is the fastest mount in the game that can help you get around the areas pretty quickly.
