The Buttons are the limited-time functional items added with the Dreamlight Parks Fest event and they come in five different colors: Blue, Green, Red, Purple, and Yellow. Each of the buttons is obtained by a certain method but before we discuss the methods, the Yellow Button is NOT AVAILABLE in the game. Despite its entry to the collection menu alongside other buttons, it cannot be obtained by any means.

Now, moving on to the rest of the four available buttons, follow the method explained in the respective section of each button to get them.

How to Get the Blue Buttons

The Blue Button is found by fishing in the white ripples/bubbles in the Peaceful Meadow and the Dazzle Beach biomes. Go to any fishing point in one of the two biomes and cast the fishing line in the white bubbles to have a chance of getting a Blue Button.

While you are fishing out the Blue Buttons, it is recommended that you bring along a villager with a Fishing Role to get Blue Buttons quicker.

The Red Buttons are easiest to get as they are found on the ground in all of the biomes of the Valley. Mostly they are found beside the homes of the villagers in all the biomes. It is best to first check around the houses to find and pick them up.

Furthermore, there is an easier way to collect them and that is by using the Basic or Advanced Ancient Vaccum. It is one of the Ancient Crafting Items that are only accessible for the Expansion Pack (A Rift in Time) owners. Using the Ancient Vacuum will allow you to gather all of the red buttons inside a biome with a single interaction.

How to Get the Purple Buttons

Unlike the other buttons, the Purple Buttons can only be crafted at a Crafting Station. You can find its recipe under the Functional Items category of the Crafting Station and it will require the following materials for one Purple Button.

1x Blue Button

2x Red Button

100 Dreamlight

The Purple Button is used for crafting the new Popcorn Buckets and if you want to get all five buckets, you will have to craft a whole lot of Purple Buttons.
