The new Ashlands biome in Valheim holds several new resources that are exclusive to this land and used for crafting new weapons, armor pieces, items, and structures. For players to get and test out all of the newly added items in Valheim, they must get their hands on these new resources.

One of the new resources that are essential for crafting various items is Sulfur. It is a natural resource found in Ashlands but it can be difficult to find, especially if you don’t know where to look. This guide will help you where to find the Sulfur in Valheim.

Where to Find the Sulfur in Valheim

Sulfur is a natural resource mainly found underneath the arch structures scattered throughout the biome of Ashlands. These structures are easy to recognize but harder to find as there are not a whole lot of them. The easiest way to find the arches is by traversing near the lava areas of the Ashlands.

Upon finding the arches, go underneath them and look up to see the sulfur deposits attached to the surface of the arch. To collect the Sulfur, you can either destroy the arch using the Pick tool or you can just build underneath the arch to grab it.

Moreover, Sulfur is also dropped from the Lava Blob enemies in the Ashlands. However, the drop rate of Sulfur from defeating a Lava Blob is extremely low as they mostly drop Proustite Powder, another essential resource that is used for crafting new bombs and payloads.
