Flametal is a refined material that is obtained from smelting Flametal Ores in the Blast Furnace station. Each Flametal Ore smelted in the Blast Furnace will drop one Flametal. Moreover, the Blast Furnace uses Coal as fuel so make sure that you have enough fuel to smelt every Flametal Ore you have to get as many Flametal as you can.
How to Get Flametal Ores in Valheim
Getting Flametal Ores is the main difficult task that you would have to undertake in getting yourself some Flametal. The Flametal Ores are mined from the shiny metal towers found in the close vicinity of the lava areas in the Ashlands. Unlike the normal building ruins from where you get Grausten, these towers are shiny and made up of Flametal completely.
Upon finding a Flametal tower, you need to mine it using the pick to start getting Flametal Ores. However, every time you start mining Flametal Ores, the ground will start to shake and the tower will begin to sink in the lava. Moreover, some of the enemies will spawn nearby that will attack you as well.
Now, another thing that is worth mentioning is that there is a possibility that you might not find a tower that is along the coast of lava, but instead, in the middle of the lava. For such cases, you need to throw the Basalt Bombs into the lava to create platforms in the lava for you to jump on and reach the tower safely.
