The new major update of Valheim includes a ton of new content for players including a new biome called Ashlands where they will encounter thirteen new types of enemies, encounter new bosses, gather new resources to unlock new crafting recipes, and much more. However, before players get to unravel all the new places and conquer the new biome, they must first reach it.
This guide will help you how to get to the Ashlands in Valheim.
How to Get to the Ashlands in Valheim
The Ashlands biome is located all the way to the south of the world map where the oceanic water is boiling hot which turns the water red. Not only that, but this water is extremely dangerous and has a sea serpent monster inside it which will attack you on your way to the Ashlands. Furthermore, there are giant spikes that you need to be aware of and sail through them to reach the coast of Ashlands.
Now, to do all of this, you need to first get your hands on one of the newly added ships called Drakkar. This new ship is coated with Ceramic Plates that allows it to sail through the burning water of Ashlands to reach its shorelines. Any other ship that you try to sail through the waters of Ashlands will turn into oblivion.
As for crafting the Drakkar, you will be needing a lot of the late-game materials including the following.
100x Iron Nails
30x Ceramic Plate
50x Finewood
25x Yggdrasil wood
It is essential for you to defeat the Mistlands Queen boss to fulfill all the materials needed for Darrak so, if you are starting a new journey for Ashlands, it will take you a while before you can reach it.
