Indigo Park is a new Indie Adventure game in which players will get to explore an abandoned amusement park called Indigo Park. The amusement park has a built-in A.I. assistant called Rambley the Raccoon who will guide you through the park but things get horrifying when you start to figure out why this place was shut down in the first place.
This guide will walk you through the first complete chapter of Indigo Park.
Indigo Park: Chapter 1 – Birds of a Feather
Find a way into the Park
Upon arriving at Indigo Park, the main gate will be closed. Head on to the right side of the door where the light is blinking and you will find a shutter door. Stand in front of the door and the camera above the door will scan you. As the door opens, go inside the room and you will be greeted by Rambley the Racoon, the A.I. assistant of Indigo Park.
Rambley will welcome you to the park and before you can head further inside the park, he will ask you to register yourself at the registration center. The registration center will be in the front. Interact with the chair to go through the registration process.
Meet Rambley at the Park’s Main Gate
Go out of the room and make your way back to the main gate of the park. Rambley will appear on the screen but the gate will not be opened. Here, Rambley will put you on the first mini-adventure of opening the main gate to the park. He will tell you to find the generator to bring back the power to the main gate.
Follow the power wire on the ground and it will take you back to the room where you first met Rambley and registered yourself. The pipe will lead to another room where you will find the generator but it will be missing a gear piece. To find the missing gear piece, head outside the generator room and look straight in front. The gear piece will be on a box. Pick it up, insert it into the generator, and then pull the lever on the wall to bring back the power.
Get the Critter Cuff
Now, go back to the main gate and it will open. Head inside the park and continue straight to meet with Rambley again. Rambley will tell you that you need to put on a Critter Cuff to get access to the reserved areas. Look to the left to see the Critter Corner, a gift shop. Head inside the gift shop and go to the counter to get a Critter Cuff.
As you are about to exit the gift shop, the door will close requiring you to test out the cuff. Interact with the cuff scanner on the right to scan the Critter Cuff and the door will unlock. Exit the shop and then head to the entrance to scan the cuff again. Upon entering the park, go towards the right side to enter the tunnel.
Rambley’s Railroad
As you enter the tunnel, the tunnel gets blocked with stones. Continue ahead in the tunnel to get to the entrance of Rambley’s Railroad. Go ahead and make your way through the dark corridors to reach the ride’s fencing line. Follow along the fences to reach the train and then interact with it to start the ride.
During the ride, you will get to meet other Ranglers, the friends of Rambley including Mollie Macaw, Finley, and Lloyd who Rambley does not like that much.
Get the Ride back up and running
As you go past meeting Finley, the ride will break down and you will be required to fix it to continue ahead. Look on the ground to see a power wire on the ground. Follow it and open the door to continue ahead through a dark hallway to reach the room with a broken console. The console will be missing two gear pieces that you need to find.
Luckily, both of the gear pieces are inside the room. One is on the shelf on the right and the other one is on the ground beside the shelf in front of the console. Pick up the gear pieces and insert them into the console to fix the ride. Once done, go back to the ride to continue ahead.
Get to Jetstream Junction
Once the ride is over, Rambley will allow you to explore the park. Go outside of the building and head straight past Rambley’s statue in the middle. Rambley will appear on the Information Kiosk where you can learn about the plushies (collectibles). Continue straight and you will reach the Jetstream Junction on the left side, but its entrance door will be locked up.
Find the Key to Jetstream Junction at Lloyd’s Main Stage
Go back to the center of the park and turn left to see Lloyd’s Main Stage Theater in the front. Head over to the main stage theater and interact with the scanner to open the door. As you enter the door, you will see Lloyd on the stage and as you get close, he will flee to the back of the theater. Go up to the stage and follow the path ahead to reach the back of the theater.
Here, you will see Lloyd hiding behind the boxes. However, don’t worry about him and make your way to the right side to go over the wooden plank. Keep on going along the narrow path between the boxes until you encounter Lloyd as he tries to reach for you and gets trapped under a box.
Make a right from here and continue ahead along the path to reach a room. Enter the room and you will find the key to Jetstream Junction on the board in front.
Use the Key to unlock Jetstream Junction
Upon getting the key, leave the room and go along the same narrow path to get to the door to the Stage. However, the door will be closed and as you scan the cuff, a cutscene will play. After the cutscene, go ahead through the opened door and make your way to the stage and then out of Lloyd’s Main Stage.
Once you are outside, go back to the Jetstream Junction door and interact with the lock to unlock the door.
Mollie’s Rooftop Races
Entering the Jetstream Junction will let you meet Rambley inside who will tell you to check out Mollie’s Rooftop Races. Continue ahead and then go up the staircase on the left side, As you reach the top, Rambley will inform you that the ride is out of order and instead tell you to check out Mollie’s Landing Pad.
Mollie’s Landing Pad
Go back down from the staircase and then turn to the left to find Mollie’s Landing Pad in the front. Interact with the scanner to open the door ahead. Once you are in the Mollie’s Landing Pad, you will see four blocks on the right side with four different symbols on them. Ignore these boxes for now and look at the left side to see a Purple Box.
If you look to the left of the purple box, there will be a purple star. It is the correct shape/symbol for the purple box. Rotate the purple box until a star symbol appears and a pipe will unlock. Go inside the pipe and as you come out of the first pipe, you will see Mollie running on the right side. Go ahead and you will see a path on the right, ignore it for now and continue ahead on the pipe in front.
Keep on going ahead along the pipe and as you come out of it, you will see a Yellow Circle symbol in front. Drop down to the pipe below at the end and you will reach the same area where you saw Mollie earlier. Now, make your way to the path on the right and as you head up the staircase, you will see a Red Star across the fence.
Continue ahead to jump across the gap and enter the pipe. Go through the pipes and you will notice the Green Triangle at the end. Go to the right from here and use the jumping pads ahead to go up. As you reach the top, you will see the Blue Star beside the pipe. Now, go through the pipe to make your way back to the starting area of Mollie’s Landing Pad.
Upon reaching the starting area, rotate the boxes for the following shapes/symbols.
Yellow Box – Circle
Red Box – Star
Green Box – Triangle
Blue Box – Star
Doing it correctly will open the door upstairs. Go upstairs to enter the unlocked door and keep on going along the path to enter inside the pipe ahead.
Escape from Mollie Macaw
In the next area, you will see a closed door ahead that you need to open by pressing the button above the staircase on the right side. Go through the opened door and as you turn to the right, you will see Mollie aggressively opening the door and coming after you. To escape Mollie successfully, follow the following steps.
Turn around and go through the pipe.
Go through the pipe on the left side.
Jump up from the jumping pads.
Go through the path on the left side.
Jump up from the next jumping pad and as you drop down from the gap, continue ahead.
Keep on going along the path and drop down through the broken fences to eventually get out of the Landing Pad area.
Continue ahead along the path to reach the ventilation system.
Keep on going along the ventilation system to get out.
Run to the room at the end to successfully escape from Mollie Macaw.
Making a wrong turn or slowing down while running from Mollie will get you caught and retry it from the start so, make sure that you take the turn where there is no danger.
Ending of Indigo Park: Chapter 1
After seeing the horrific fate of Mollie Macaw, continue ahead along the path and then enter the security room on the left side. From here, go ahead until you come out of the security room and keep on following the path to reach the Oceanic Odyssey ride. Head over to the door and the first chapter will be concluded.
It is the first chapter of free-to-play Indigo Park on Steam and after completing the first chapter, the end credits will roll with a unique style and then a Thank You note at the end.
