Venturing through the illuminated labyrinth world of Animal Well, players will reach a main hub area which we call the Animal Room as there are statues of four different animals in this room. One of the bosses that players will get to encounter is a Seahorse located on the lower-left side of the map.
Defeating the Seahorse is mandatory for completing the game as it will open a path for the players to get one of the flames which are used to light the Seahorse’s statue and allow players to continue on to the next area. This guide will help you how to defeat Seahorse Boss in Animal Well.
How to Defeat the Seahorse Boss in Animal Well
Exploring the Seahorse’s quadrant on the lower-left side of the world map will let players run into him for once just before getting the B. Wand tool. If players remember his water-spraying attack and how to dodge it, they will be able to breeze through this boss fight. As a matter of fact, this boss fight isn’t really a boss fight as you will be solving a puzzle to unlock the door ahead.
The Seahorse’s chamber is located beneath the Whale room which players will eventually reach while progressing through Seahorse’s quadrant. Once there, they will see four floating platforms, two turn-able reflectors with two cranks beside them, and three receptacles that need to be filled with water.
Now, the source of the water is the Seahorse himself, and similar to the previous encounter with the Seahorse, he will come out of the water from time to time. What you need to do here is to turn the reflectors in the direction of the receptors and stand on the edge of the platform to make the Seahorse spray water at the reflectors. You can also stand next to the crank to move the reflector as you want to direct the water perfectly to the receptors.
For the receptor on the left side, turn the reflector to the right side and as the seahorse sprays water, adjust the crank to direct the water into the receptor. For the receptor in the middle and the right side, turn the right reflector to the left side to fill both of the receptors. Make sure to adjust the crank as the seahorse is spraying water to do it more efficiently.
Once all the receptors are filled up, the door ahead will unlock allowing you to get past the seahorse concluding the boss fight. Inside the next room, you will find the B. Flame inside the glass. Break the glass using the Disc or Yoyo to pick it up and then make your way back to the Animal Hub to put the flame in the Seahorse’s statue.
