Hero Pose is a story quest in Act II: The Spark of Imagination of the A Rift in Time expansion. It is a quest for Gaston that comes available after completing The Sunken Ruins quest for Merlin. This guide will walk you through how to complete the Hero Pose quest for Gaston in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete the Hero Pose Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Starting the Quest
The Hero Pose quest becomes available once you have completed The Sunken Ruins quest. You can find the quest in the Quests’ Menu and make it an active quest by selecting it. To initiate the quest, simply find Gaston and speak with him.
Find the Golden Ingredients for the Golden Omelet Recipe
Upon speaking to Gaston, he will give you the Golden Omelet recipe. Open the inventory and use the recipe to learn it. Learning the recipe will list several Golden Ingredients that you need to find inside the Cave of Wonders.
Go to The Wastes area of the Glittering Dunes biome and interact with the gate of the cave to enter inside. Here, you need to find the piles of Gold Coins throughout the cave and dig them with the Royal Shovel to get all the ingredients which are as follows.
Golden Eggs
Gemstone Cheese
Aged Venison
Golden Milk
Golden Pepper
Cook the Golden Omelet
After gathering all the golden ingredients from the Cave of Wonders, go to any cooking station to cook the Golden Omelet. Interact with the cooking station and navigate to the Quests section to find the recipe. Select the recipe and make it using the required ingredients.
Once you have cooked the Golden Omelet, bring it back to Gaston to progress ahead in the quest.
Gather the materials for Shiny LeFou
Upon bringing Gaston a hearty breakfast, he will tell you to make him a new sidekick using the gemstones which will require the following materials.
5x Bronze Ingot – Obtained by crafting at a crafting station.
3x Jade – Obtained by mining the nodes in The Courtyard and The Overlook areas of the Ancient’s Landing biome.
1x Bumblestone – Obtained by mining the nodes in The Borderlands area of the Glittering Dunes biome.
1x Alexandrite – Obtained by mining the nodes in The Oasis and The Wastes areas of the Glittering Dunes biome.
1x Spinel – Obtained by mining the nodes in The Grove and The Promenade areas of the Wild Tangle biome.
1x Paints from Rapunzel’s Tower – Go to Rapunzel’s Tower and head into the top right corner of the room to find the paints.
Craft the Shiny LeFou
After gathering all the required materials, make your way to the Crafting Station to craft the Shiny LeFou. Interact with the crafting station and navigate to the Functional Items Tab to find the recipe. Select it and craft it using the required materials.
Completing the Quest
Once you have crafted the Shiny LeFou, bring it to Gaston to hand it over. Go through the dialogues with him and the quest will be concluded.
Rewards
Completing the Hero Pose quest will give 1,000 Friendship Points as a reward.
