The world of Palia offers various kinds of bugs throughout the Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay map zones that players can find and catch to level up the Bug Catching Guild and also earn useful items. One of the Uncommon bugs that can be found inside the Kilima Valley map zone is the Duskwing Butterfly which also has the potential to drop a new flower called Blue Hydrangea.

Where to Find Duskwing Butterfly in Palia
The Duskwing Butterfly can be found at Maji’s Hollow area in Kilima Valley during Morning and Day (3 AM – 6 PM) in-game time. The Maji’s Hollow is located on the northeast side of Kilima Valley and as you go there during the morning (3 AM) to evening (6 PM), you will be able to find a few Duskwing Butterflies flying around the hillside, trees, and the Dragon Shrine.
How to Catch Duskwing Butterfly in Palia
Catching the Duskwing Butterfly is easier than the rare butterflies as it tries to flee in a straight direction with a slow speed. Due to its slow speed, throwing multiple smoke bombs at it once will stun it instantly allowing you to catch it straight away.
However, if you are not consistent in your aiming ability, try to use the Sticky Smoke Bombs on it to make it even slower, and then use the smoke bombs on it to make it unconscious. Once it is stunned go over to it and you will get the option to pick it up. If you are lucky, you will also get the flower seed of Blue Hydrangea which you can plant anywhere in your Housing Plot.
