Sons of the Forest: How to Get the Can Opener

Surviving on a remote island in the Sons of the Forest will require you to search for various kinds of weapons and tools that can help you throughout the adventure. One of the essential tools that players must first find is a Can Opener which is a crucial and only tool that can open the Canned Food. As Canned Food is found at several locations throughout the island, consuming it can easily resolve the hunger situation.

This guide will help you find a Can Opener in Sons of the Forest early in the game as well as highlight all the currently available locations for Can Opener.

How to Get the Can Opener Early in Sons of the Forest

The Can Opener can be found in four locations on the island, all of which are abandoned camps. However, three of these locations are actually right next to the spawn locations of the game. As you begin your adventure, you will be placed in one of three spawn locations, Beach, Forest, and the Mountain.

Can Opener Near Beach Spawn Location

The Can Opener location for the Beach spawn is on the edge of the beach beside the rocks. Here, you will find the Can Opener along with Energy Drinks and other supplies.

Can Opener Forest Spawn Location

The Can Opener location for the Forest spawn is on the abandoned camp near the lake which can be reached by following the river. Upon spawning in the Forest, follow the river toward the northwest side and you will reach an abandoned camp on which you will find the Can Opener.

Can Opener Mountain Spawn Location

The Can Opener location for the Mountain spawn is on the abandoned camp outside of the cave entrance beside the small frozen lake. Upon spawning on the mountain, simply follow the road up to reach the frozen lake and the abandoned camp to find the Can Opener.

Additional Location for Can Opener in Sons of the Forest

Apart from the Can Opener locations near the spawn locations, there is another location where you can find the Can Opener. This location is located on the east side of the island, directly east of the Cultist Cave in which you find the Ancient Armor. Heading directly in the east direction will make you find an abandoned camp where you will find the Can Opener.

If somehow you dropped or lost your Can Opener, you can always get another one from this location.
