There are several essential resources on the mysterious Alien Planet in Lightyear Frontier that players will have to gather so that they can use them to craft essential structures. One of the most needy resources for almost the entirety of the gameplay is Plant Fiber. It is used in every early structure and is super essential for earning money as it can be used to make Plant Oil which then can be sold to Merchant.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Plant Fiber in Lightyear Frontier.
How to Get Plant Fiber in Lightyear Frontier
Plant Fiber can be obtained from bushes, small plants, and even trees. To get the Plant Fiber, you have to use the Spike Saw, one of Mech’s Tools that players will be able to find at the start of the game. Once you have the Spike Saw, equip it from the Tool Wheel by pressing the Q button and then use it on bushes and plants to obtain a higher quantity of Plant Fiber.
However, if you have already cleared out your close area with bushes and plants, you can cut down the trees to get some amount of Plant Fiber. Usually, the thinner Green Trees drop 3x Plant Fiber on every harvest so, if you see a group of green trees nearby, feel free to cut them down to get Plant Fiber as well as Wood, another essential resource for the early gameplay.
Recommended Tip for Harvesting Plant Fibers
That is pretty much it for getting the Plant Fiber in Lightyear Frontier and a great tip I would like to share is to always gather around a hundred Plant Fibers at a time as they can take up pretty large space in your inventory and can make your mech heavy, neglecting you to use the Thrusters. Harvest the Plant Fiber and store it in the storage or add it to the Oil Presser to make Plant Oil.
