Outcast – A New Beginning: How to Equip Weapon Modules and Unlock More Module Slots

The weapons in Outcast – A New Beginning use different Helidium types as a source to inflict greater damage to the enemies. The Pistol uses the Green Helidium and the Rifle uses the Red Helidium. However, another great way to increase the potential of your weapons is by equipping various weapon modules on them. The more weapon modules you equip on a single weapon, the more you increase its capability to deal damage to the enemies.

How to Equip Weapon Modules on the Weapons in Outcast – A New Beginning

The Weapon Modules are obtained by looting the Outpost Chests located inside the Outposts. The outposts are scattered throughout the different regions of Planet Adelpha that players will get to explore as they pursue the missions through the Quest Log. Upon finding the weapon modules, players will be able to equip them with the weapons by the following steps.

Open the main menu and navigate to the “Weapon” tab.

Switch between the weapons by pressing the R2 or L2 on which you wish to equip the weapon modules.

Hover over the unlocked weapon modules on the left side and select one to apply to the weapon’s available module slot.

How to Unlock Module Slots in Outcast – A New Beginning

Each weapon has a total of four Module Slots that players can unlock using the Nano Cells. At the beginning, each weapon will start with only one module slot allowing you to equip any one of the available weapon slots. To unlock the other module slots, you can follow the following steps.

Open the main menu and navigate to the “Weapon” tab.

Switch between the weapons by pressing the R2 or L2 on which you wish to unlock the module slots.

Hover over the locked module slot at the bottom and press the Square button to unlock it using the required number of Nano Cells.

The second module slot only costs 50 Nano Cells but the third slot will cost 200 Nano Cells for which you have to grind a bit to collect the required amount. Once you have another module slot unlocked, you can select the weapon module from the left side to apply it to the weapon.
