There are a couple of Pinfall Systems in the new WWE 2K24 which brings back the Timed mini-game as the default Pin System which was debuted in the previous WWE 2K23. However, if you are comfortable with the Rapid Pin System (mashing button one), then you will be able to change it to that for a better gameplay experience in your matches.

How to Change the Pin Mini-Game in WWE 2K24
Changing the Pin Mini-Game is quite simple in WWE 2K24 as the very option to switch between the available pin mini-games can be found in the gameplay settings of the game. To change the Pin Mini-Game in WWE 2K24, you can follow the following steps.
Open the Main Menu of the game.
Go into the Options and select the Gameplay tab.
Go a few options down in the Gameplay and you will see the option named “Pin Mini-Game”.
At default, it will be set to “Timed”. You need to change it to “Rapid” Pin Mini-Game.
By doing this, you will change it to the button-mashing Pin Mini-Game which was in WWE 2K22. Its name is RAPID and if you play through the MyRise Mode in WWE 2K24, you will also get to learn both of the Pin Systems and you will get the option to select one of the Pin-Systems for the game.
So, select the Pin Mini-Game you are more comfortable with. However, if you match in Online Lobbies, you will first have to set the Pin Systems to RAPID in Match Options. Otherwise, it will be on TIMED by default.
