Project XL Mentors Tier List

Having a mentor in Project XL gives you the upper hand in battle. However, some mentors are weaker than others. So, which mentors do I recommend?

S Tier

These mentors grant you impressive boosts and abilities!

Enel
Enemies are exposed and weakened by 25%Attacks from enemies deal -25% DMG and your attacks deal +25% DMG
Dabi
Burst of Blue Flame gets a DMG increase when attacking enemies that are in mid-airDamage Over Time (DOT) lasts for an extra 2 secondsBlue Fire Raise deals Airborne and grants you Invincibility for a period of time
Gojo
Limitless Imaginary Technique Hollow Purple – 1.5x DMG boostCursed Technique Lapse Blue – 1.2x DMG boostCursed Technique Reversal Red – 1.2x DMG boostThe range of Cursed Combat is increased

A Tier

I reckon these mentors are just as good as those in the S-tier, but they’re a little lower on the priority scale.

Cain Barzard
Blaze’s Blast stuns enemies for a longer period of time with a +50% DMG increase
Ace
Every attack boosts the Burning effect
Whitebeard
R stuns for a longer period of timeE turns into a shieldC gives the enemy the Exposed debuff and tampers with their screen
Shinra
Adolla Burst – 1.2x DMG boostPyrokinesis – 1.2x DMG boostFlaming Breakdance – 1.2x DMG boostHysterical Strength – 1.2.x DMG boost

B Tier

I’m not against these mentors, but I don’t want to rely on them too much.

Hisashi Midoriya
When an enemy is under the Burning effect, this mentor will deal extra DMG
Gecko Moria
You deal extra DMG against enemies that have the Weakened debuffEvery attack gives enemies the Weakened debuff
Broly
Legendary Super Saiyan gets a 2x boost for all statsTrap Shooter gets a +25% DMG boost

C Tier

I’m not a fan of these mentors.

Present Mic
Stuns enemies for a longer duration with the Eardrum Shatter move

Black Hole stuns after the first hitLiberation can strike through blocks
