Throughout the playthrough and exploration of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, you will come across several treasure maps highlighting an X mark at a specific location. One of the earliest treasure maps that players can find is during the ‘Hammer and Tongs’ haunting case which is essential for pursuing ‘The Woodfolks’ main quest.

Makeshift Camp Cache Treasure Map Location in Banishers
The Makeshift Camp Cache Treasure Map is found at the High Cave Shelter in the Dark Woods. Players who pursue the ‘Hammer and Tongs’ haunting case for progressing ‘The Woodfolks’ main quest will eventually reach this shelter where they will find the map beside the campfire.
However, the players, who pursued the other haunting case and now looking to find the map, can get it by going directly in the northwest direction from the Hunter’s Camp to reach the Dark Woods and continuing inside a cavern area with a blue brazier outside.
Where to Find Makeshift Camp Cache Treasure in Banishers
Open the inventory from the game menu to view the treasure map and if you analyze it closely, you will recognize it as the area of the Hunter’s Camp where you first met Kate Newsmith. Make your way to the Hunter’s Camp either by going there manually or fast traveling by resting at one of the campfires.
Once there, make your way to the right side of the campfire at the Hunter’s Camp and get close to the stream. As you go close to the stream, you will see a rock on top of the X mark made with wooden sticks. Interact with the rock to dig and you will find 1x Scourge Accretion, an uncommon resource that is usually found by defeating the Scourge Beasts or purchased from the Witch.
It is also needed for upgrading the Sabre and Firebane and the Outfit to Level 3 upgrade so, if you are looking forward to one of these upgrades then finding this treasure will help you pursue it.
