Pursuing your epic journey of becoming a ferocious pirate will require you to go on a long journey across vast seas and engage with various enemy factions. Throughout the adventure, players will get to unlock and craft several ships that they can manage and customize to their liking.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to customize your ship in Skull and Bones.

How to Customize Your Ship in Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones offers several customization options for the ship that players will be able to equip once they unlock their first ship. Players will start with a small ship and as they progress through the opening scene of the game and complete a couple of starting main quests, they will be able to craft Bedar, their first ship.

After getting the first ship, players need to go to the dock and select the ‘Embark’ option instead of setting sail to open the Ship Docking menu. Here players need to select the ‘Manage Ship’ option to find the ‘Ship Cosmetics’ option in which they will be able to customize the ship with the following options.

Sets: Complete decorated set for the ship which includes cosmetics for Ornaments, Helm Décor, Sail, Nameplate, Wheel, Trophy, and Crow’s Nest.

Sails: Change the Color, Pattern, and Embark on the Sails of the ship.

Figure Head: Place a figurehead in front of the ship.

Hull: Change the color of the ship’s hull.

Ornaments: Place various ornament designs on the ship.

Nameplate: Add a nameplate to the ship.

Wheel: Change Wheel design.

Helm Décor: Place a helm décor item on the ship.

Crew Look: Change the look of your crew.

Pet: Add a pet on the ship.

Trophy: Place a trophy design on the pole.

Crow’s Nest: Place a design on Crow’s Nest.

Firework: Change the fireworks.

All of the customizations for the ship have to be bought for Silver or Gold from vendors like Shipwright or the Black Market. The prices for the customizations are high and can cost you thousands of Silver per item so make sure to spend the money wisely.
