Imogen Poots Becomes an Irish Revolutionary in ‘Baltimore’ UK Trailer

“We can’t sit back and do nothing, we must act!” Icon Film UK has released an official trailer for an indie drama titled Baltimore, a thriller based on a true story. This initially premiered at the 2023 Telluride & London Film Festivals last year. It is the latest critically acclaimed film made by Christine Molloy & Joe Lawlor, the directors of Rose Plays Julie, The Future Tense and Helen – and stars Imogen Poots and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor. The Irish thriller is based on the life of Rose Dugdale, a former English debutante who rebelled against her wealthy upbringing, becoming a volunteer in the militant Irish republican group, the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) during the Troubles in the 1970s. Her anti-establishment views led her to conduct the biggest art heist in history, stealing 19 old master paintings at gunpoint. Poots plays Rose, with a cast including Lewis Brophy, Jack Meade, Patrick Martins, Dermot Crowley, Andrea Irvine, John Kavanagh. No US release date set yet, but it opens in the UK this March.
