Palworld: How to Get Wheat Seeds

There are several seed types in Palworld that are necessary for building a plantation at the base to get their respective crops. One of the required plantations that players must build at their base is Wheat Plantation for which players will have to get the wheat seeds.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get wheat seeds in Palworld.

How to Get Wheat Seeds in Palworld

Wheat Seeds can be obtained by two different methods in Palworld. The first method includes catching or killing the Pals that drop Wheat Seeds and the second method requires purchasing the Wheat Seeds from the Wandering Merchant. For the first method, there are several Pals that drop Wheat Seeds and a few of the early Pals that players can catch and kill easily are the following.

Flopie

Bristla

Cinnamoth

Dinossom

Among all of the mentioned Pals, Dinossom is the earliest Pal players can find in the starting region of the game. Use a Bow or Crossbow to deal damage to Dinossom to either kill or catch it to get 2x Wheat Seeds. You will have to kill 2 Dinossom Pals to have enough Wheat Seeds to build the Wheat Plantation.

For the second method, you can wait for the Wandering Merchant to visit your base or you can find one at the Small Settlement located west of the starting region of the game. The Wandering Merchant sells Wheat Seeds for 100 Gold Coins each and you can get 3x Wheat Seed for 300 Gold Coins.

Purchasing the Wheat Seeds is the fastest method as players will be able to fast travel to and back from Small Settlement by interacting with the fast travel tower. So, if you have some Gold Coins to spare then purchase the seeds otherwise, catch or kill the Pals that drop Wheat Seeds.
