The Wheat Plantation is one of the early farming plantations in Palworld that is crucial for increasing your base level. Building a Wheat Plantation will allow players to have an endless supply of wheat that can be consumed to restore the hunger of the character as well as the Pals or refined into Flour which can be used in various cooking recipes.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to build a Wheat Plantation in Palworld.

How to Build a Wheat Plantation in Palworld

The Wheat Plantation is a food-type structure in Palworld that players can unlock and learn its recipe at reaching Level 15 of Technology. Forage resources, mine rocks and ores, catch Pals, and complete base missions to increase the level. Once you have reached level 15, open the Technology tab and learn the recipe for Wheat Plantation by using two Technology Points.

Upon learning the recipe, go into the Build Mode by pressing the B button and switch to the Food category to find the Wheat Plantation structure. Select the Wheat Plantation and place it on the ground to build it with the following resources.

3x Wheat Seeds

35x Wood

35x Stone

Wheat Seeds are obtained by catching or killing Pals like Dinossom, Flopie, Bristla, etc. which all are Grass-type Pals. Additionally, players can also purchase the Wheat Seeds from the Wandering Merchant.

How to Grow Wheat in Palworld

Once you have built the Wheat Plantation, you need to plant the seeds by interacting with it. It will take some time to complete the planting sequence and once you have planted the seeds, you will get to water them. After watering the seeds, you need to wait for them to grow and finally, you will be able to harvest them.

Alternatively, instead of doing all the work by yourself, you can deploy your pals to take care of the farming. Pals like Gumoss will plant and water the seeds whereas the Chikipi will harvest the Wheat once they have grown. Additionally, if you have put down a wooden chest or a feed box at the base, Lamball will store the harvested wheat in the chest or the feed box.
